the landmark of Bali as the new tourism

unanswered, what are people looking for?
ULUWATU TEMPLE
Futher south around 15 kms from area of
Desa Jimbaran is one of important Bali temple.
The temple was most possible hs been built
by Mengwi kingdom in 1690 AD. Mengwi kingdom
was the most productive kingdom in building
temples. Later the southern area of Mengwi
including Jimbaran was taken over by Badung
kingdom. So, now the owner of the temple
is one of the royal family named Jero Kuta.
A version of story mentions that a priest
named Dang Hyang Nirarta who came to Bali
around 1460 - 1550 AD. It is said on one
of this book that the priest was "moksa"
or sublimated his body at the place of the
temple. To commemorate the event the temple
was built. But the fact there is no shrine
is dedicated to a certain figure could lead
the assumption. It is still in doubt among
historian if the book describing the role
of the priest was written by himself or
other later writer. The book is classified
as " Usana" means history, with
many information contains events that by
human logic could not be understood.
